Every organisation is made up of moments. Some are planned, many are not — but each one can influence how people understand their value and place at work.

Look beyond the process

A process tells people what needs to happen. An experience includes what they encounter along the way: the welcome, the clarity, the tone, the chance to ask questions and the confidence that somebody is listening.

Human experience is not separate from organisational performance. It is one of the conditions that shapes it.

Start with careful attention

Useful change begins with listening. Notice where expectations and lived experience differ, explore which moments carry the greatest weight, and involve the people closest to them in shaping what comes next.

There is rarely one universal answer. The strongest interventions reflect the organisation’s people, pressures, culture and context.
